Joan Katherine Promollo of Ledgewood, NJ, formerly of Orange, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Morristown Medical Center. She was 87 years old.

Joan was born in Orange to John and Helen (Borner) McGoldrick in November 1937.  Her family was everything to Joan – she was very devoted to their happiness and wellbeing. When she had time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for everyone, and watching her favorite soap operas.

Joan is survived by her cherished sons, Gustave (Donna) and John; her adored daughter, Valerie Swan (Michael); her loving grandchildren, Joseph Korczukowki and Ashley Korczukowski; her sister-in-law, Evelyn McGoldrick; and other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cosimo Gustave Promollo; and her siblings, Richard, John, Thomas, Robert McGoldrick, Jane Behr and Jeanne Hemke.
