June M. Schott, 85, of Pocono Pines, PA, formerly of Caldwell, NJ, passed away on September 14, 2025.

June was born and raised in Boonton, NJ and was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Bill, and her parents, Anthony and Estelle Mihalak. She was a teacher at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Boonton and St. Aloysius, Caldwell. She was also a CCD teacher, cantor, choir, and Cornerstone member at Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell and St. Maximilian & Kolbe Parish, Pocono Pines.

June was also an award-winning watercolor artist in the West Caldwell and Pocono Art Councils.

She is survived by her stepdaughters, Sharon Smith and Sheila Grobeis (Don); grandchildren, Erin (Justin), Kelley (Jon), Heather (Alexander), and Brandt (Sarah); and great-grandchildren, William, Zoey, Emma, Alexandra, Braden, and Abigail.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22nd at 10:00 am in Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell, followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair afterward.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Saint Dominic of Caldwell.
