Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth Thomas

Nancy Elizabeth Thomas-Weiner Learning Consultant Nancy Elizabeth Thomas-Weiner, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away after a long illness on Monday, December 16, 2013. She was 65 years old. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 271 Roseland Avenue, Essex Fells, NJ 07021 on Monday, December 23rd at Noon. Viewing will be held from 11:00am until noon at the church. Arrangements are in the trusted care of the Codey & Jones Funeral Home of Caldwell, NJ. Nancy was born in Long Branch and lived down the shore until she moved to Montclair, NJ, Caldwell and then West Caldwell in 2005. She was a graduate of Jersey City State College with a bachelors degree and Montclair State University with a masters degree, both degrees in education. Nancy was born to be a teacher and her life revolved around education. She retired from the Montclair Board of Education and was an associate professor at Montclair State University; in addition to owning and operating Nancy Thomas Learning Consultants a private practice in Montclair and in Cedar Grove. She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Weiner, devoted sons Adam and Ethan and her loving sister Joan Leith.
