Obituary of Betty M. Colatrella

Betty M. Colatrella, 87, of Marion Manor, Caldwell, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, July 13, 2015. A Memorial Mass will be offered at Marion Manor, 7 Ashland St., Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 1:00pm. Arrangements by the Codey & Jones Funeral Home of Caldwell. Born in Newark, NJ to her parents, Sam and Carmela Maffei, Betty lived in Newark and Roseland before moving to Caldwell in the 1980s. Betty was a secretary/transcriber for Liberty Mutual Insurance for many years prior to her retirement. After retirement she worked for years at the Caldwell Senior Center, and later also worked part time at the Caldwell Progress. She is survived by her children, Thomas, Laura, Steven, Elizabeth and Paul; a brother Richard Maffei and his wife, Barbara, and by her two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory to St. Vincent Academy, 228 W. Market St., Newark, NJ 07103 would be appreciated.
