Obituary of Charles B. Vanderberg

Charles B. Vanderberg Avid Sportsman Charles B. Vanderberg, 84, of Roseland, NJ, formerly of North Caldwell, NJ, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell NJ. Born in Passaic, NJ to his parents, Harry and Eleanor Vanderberg, Charles lived in North Caldwell before moving to Roseland several years ago. He was a graduate of Lehigh University with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Mr. Vanderberg retired in 1986 as the President and Owner of Cullen, Bogart, Parker Insurance Co. in Clifton, NJ. An avid sportsman, Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at the Black Meadow Club in Warwick, NY. He loved the outdoors, good friends, a good laugh and his family. He is survived by his devoted sons, John with his girlfriend, Lisa, of Denver, CO and Glen, of Morristown, NJ; 4 cherished grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Holly and Henry; and his beloved companion, Helene Huelbig.
