Obituary of Mary Louise Ward

Mary Louise Ward Beloved Wife and Mother Mary Louise Ward (nee Rauschenberger), 53, of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, formerly of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. The celebration of Mary's life will begin with a memorial visitation at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Sunday, October 11th from 2– 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Monday, October 12th at 11:00 am. The interment will be private. She graduated from James Caldwell High School in 1981, where she was the Captain of the Flag Bearing Team, and from Johnson & Wales College, RI in 1983 with a degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management. It was in college that she met and later married the love of her life, Gary Ward. Mary was a manager at the Jefferson Diner in Lake Hopatcong for many years. She was also a manager at Charlie Browns in Denville, NJ before her retirement. Perhaps she would like to be remembered vacationing down at the Jersey Shore or bowling a spare with the Jefferson Bowling League. Most importantly it was time spent with the family she loved. She is survived by her beloved husband, Gary M.; devoted parents, Frank J. Rauschenberger and Carol A. Woods; adored children, Nicole L. and Eric M.; loving sisters, Patricia A. Vandigriff and her husband, John, and Kathleen M. McCoy and her husband, Michael; and a dear brother, Michael A. Rauschenberger and his wife, Tammy; also her adored nieces & nephews, Kyle & Kayla Vandigriff and Shaun & Kristen Rauschenberger.
