Obituary of Eleanor Mary Shenuski

Eleanor Mary Shenuski Loved Her Family Eleanor Mary Shenuski of Caldwell, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015, her 72nd wedding anniversary which she was able to celebrate with her beloved husband, Carl, in heaven. She was 93 years old. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Wednesday, December 16th from 3 – 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell on Thursday, December 17th at 10:00 am . Born and raised in Montclair, NJ to Vito and Rose Ruggiero, Eleanor graduated from Montclair High School in 1940. She married her beloved husband, Carl in 1943 and together they raised her daughter Carol Ann, living in Boonton, NJ before moving to Caldwell in 1966. Her love of family and her homes in Boonton and Caldwell were the cornerstone of the Shenuski Family. She was proud of her daughter, Carol Ann, a teacher at James Caldwell High School, and loved to participate and attend the activities at JCHS; concerts, plays, musicals, sports and assist Carol Ann with the National Honor Society Ceremonies every year. Mrs. Shenuski was also a friend and advocate of the Caldwell Public Library for many years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl, in 2003; also 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Surviving are her devoted daughter and friend, Carol Ann Shenuski; and many cherished nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Essex First Aid Squad or Caldwell Public Library would be appreciated.
