Family Matriarch
Julie M. DiMarsico of West Orange, NJ, peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, with her family by her side. She was a remarkable 99 years old.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Saturday, April 2nd at 11:00am. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9-11am. Born and raised in Irvington, NJ to John and Antonina Ziobro, Julie lived most of her life in Irvington, before moving to Bloomfield, Parsippany and West Orange.
Mrs. DiMarsico retired in 1978 from Westinghouse in Bloomfield as a shipping manager.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; a son, John; 2 brothers, John and Steven; and 3 sisters, Mary, Helen and Emma; and a grandson, John.
Surviving are her daughter, Mary "Chi Chi" Contursi; a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Edmondson; grandchildren, Maria Tirella, Andrea Torres, Julie Ann Petrillo, Lisa Angelicola, Lorraine Belcuore, Tommy and Andrew DiMarsico; 16 great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews - especially, Bill, Michael & Steven Cullen and Patricia DeFeo.
