Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother Patricia C. "Ginger" Giangerelli (nee Palumbo), 69, of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell on Wednesday, Junes 8, 2016 from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell on Thursday, Junes 9, 2016 at 11:00 am. The entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ. Born and raised in Kearny, NJ, Patricia was the daughter of the late Thomas Palumbo and Clara DeVivo. She married George J. Giangerelli and moved to Bloomfield in 1972 where together they raised their daughter, Janine. Patricia was a hairdresser who worked for LeShoppe in West Orange, NJ and Salon Salon in Livingston, NJ. Surviving are her beloved husband, George; devoted daughter, Janine and her husband, Carmen Cerreto; loving grandchildren, who adored their "Meem", Anthony, Christina, Carmen, Jr., Michael and Elizabeth. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Virginia Laturza and brother, Anthony "Butchie" Palumbo. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
