Loving Sister, Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother Barbara S. Kelleher, of Cranes Mill in West Caldwell, NJ, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 18, 2016. She was 86 years old. The family will receive friends at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 4-8 pm. We will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at The Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, 315 First Street, Westfield, NJ 07090 on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 9:00am. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ to David Stalker and May Walker, Barbara was raised in Bloomfield. Graduated from Bloomfield HS, Class of 1947. Lived in Upper Montclair, North Caldwell, Caldwell, Corbin City for 30 years before settling in West Caldwell. Barbara worked at Tunsol The Insurance Group, as an office manager of auditing; an office Manager in Caldwell for Dr. Simon, Podiatrist; and was the owner of Seaspray Farm – working side by side with her husband in the sweet corn business; and a full-time board worker at the Board of Elections Mays Landing, NJ, Corbin City – City Clerk and Board of Elections in Atlantic County She was appointed by Governor Brendan Bryne as a New Jersey State Commissioner on the Advisory Commission on the Status of Women. Barbara was a member of Women's Auxiliary of VFW, a 4-H Leader. She taught calligraphy at Caldwell West Caldwell Adult Education and was a cake decorator She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas in 2009; grandson, Joseph Giannotti in 2005; a twin brother at birth; brothers-in-law, Edgar Ferdon, Joseph and sister-in-law, Rose Kelleher. Surviving are her devoted daughters and their husbands, Maureen and Richard Rosin, Patricia and John Ruggero and Eileen and Jeffrey O'Sullivan; loving brother, Alan Stalker cherished grandchildren, : Kevin and Erin Rosin, Matthew Giannotti, Courtney Platt, Colleen Brones, and Christopher O'Sullivan; an adored great granddaughter, Brayden Platt; loving sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Ferdon Marie Kelleher, Linda Kamerman Kelleher, Patricia Stalker and brother-in-law, John Kelleher; dear cousin, Brian Allen; dedicated friend, Sheryte Haziri and her family; also many nieces and nephews.
