Antoinette "Toni" Spiotto, of Fairfield, NJ, formerly of Newark and East Orange, NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was 90 years old. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Wednesday, October 26th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 518 Valley St., Orange, NJ on Thursday, October 27th at 10:00am. Antoinette was born in Orange, NJ to Carmen and Fannie Pavone, where she was raised with her two brothers and a sister. She met Gerald Spiotto in Branch Brook Park, later they married and together they raised their family in East Orange. Toni was a machine operator for many years at the Sillcox & Miller Co. in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, loved to shop with her daughters and at home enjoyed watching westerns on TV. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald, two brothers, Robert and Dominic and a sister, Anna Brennan. Surviving are her four devoted children, Debra Scaduto and her husband, Benny, Victoria Davino, Gerald and Denise Spiotto; loving granddaughter, Tina Davino-Silver and a cherished great grandson, Matthew Silver; also her sister-in-law, Marion Pavone and several nieces and nephews. If so desired donations to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Toni would be appreciated.
