Obituary of Oscar Santalla

Oscar Santalla, of Union Beach, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 31, 2014 at home. He was 49 years old. Relatives and friends please visit with the family at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ (973-226-6696) on Thursday, February 6th from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Roseland Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 7th at 11:00 am. The interment will be private. Oscar was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States as a child. He was a Veteran who served in the U.S. Military. Mr. Santalla was a dispatcher with the Jersey City Medical Center and later with Hackensack University Medical Center (MICCOM). He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathrine Ann (Baldwin); adored children Jasmine and Jason; dear mother Carmen; devoted brother Andres and sister Lourdes; also several loving nieces and nephews In lieu of flowers, donations made in Oscar's memory to the EMS Family Resources (www.emsfr.org) would be greatly appreciated.
