Beloved Husband, Father & Grandfather Joseph Addiego, 75, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, NJ 07006 (973-226-6696) on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 11:00 am till Noon followed by a service celebrating Joseph's Life. The interment is private. To extend condolences or share a memory, please visit www.codeyjonesfh.com. Born and raised in NY, NY to Thomas and Helen (nee Shapiro) Addiego. Joe graduated from Pratt Institute in New York and lived in several places before settling in Hackettstown. Joseph was a director of packaging with Nabisco in Fairlawn and East Hanover, NJ for 23 years. He was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed both hunting and fishing with family and friends. Surviving are his devoted wife of 25 years, JoAnn (nee Firavanti); beloved children, Kim, Craig (Wilaiporn); dear step-children, Gina Vail, Mark and Erik Whittle; loving brother, Steve (Carol) Addiego; cherished grandchildren, Bailey, Jake and Ryan; also his mother-in-law, Ersilia "Dee" Firavanti and brothers-in-law, Thomas(Susan) and Victor (Rita) Firavanti. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory to the Allamuchy - Green First Aid Squad, 25 Maple Lane, Andover, NJ 07821, would be deeply appreciated.
