Obituary of Angelina Candeliere

Beloved Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother Angelina Candeliere, of Livingston, NJ, formerly of West Orange, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was a remarkable 96 years young. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ on Thursday, July 27 from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Philomena's R.C. Church, 386 S. Livingston Avenue, Livingston on Friday, July 28 at 11:00 am. The interment is private. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Rosa (Cerrato) Rizzuto, and one of five children. She graduated from West Side H.S. and lived in Irvington. She married Frank S. Candeliere, Jr. and they lived in South Orange for one year before moving to West Orange, she lived there for 60 years before moving Livingston in 2011. Together she and her husband raised their four children and have a legacy of eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Angie's proudest achievement in life was her family. She loved spending time with her loved ones, baking & cooking on holidays and enjoyed every moment with her family. After raising her children she worked as a bookkeeper for over 20 years with Rosenberg & Associates in Roseland. She was a member of the Roseland VFW Ladies Auxiliary for over 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank, Jr.; brother, Melchiore "Mickey" Rizzuto; sisters, Anna Rizzuto, Josephine Genna and Catherine Doris. Surviving are her devoted children and their spouses, Michelle & Damon LaSalle, Francine & Joseph Fonzino, Frank & Patricia Candeliere and Deborah & Kevin Dillon; loving grandchildren, Laura & Brant Wreith, Linda Valera, Damon and Emily LaSalle, Tara & Carlo Taccetta, Michael Fonzino, Kevin Dillon, Katelyn Dillon and Brittany Dillon & her fiancé Peter Fresco; cherished great grandchildren, Olivia & Steven Wreith, Michael & Francine Taccetta, Anthony Valera, Michael & Gabriella Fonzino and Damon & Max LaSalle.
