Obituary of Peter Santangelo
Peter Santangelo, 89, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 (973-226-6696) on Friday, December 1st from 4-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre Dame R.C. Church, 359 Central Avenue, North Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Saturday, December 2nd at 9:30am. Born in Newark, NJ to Vito and Catherine (Campisi), Peter was raised in Newark and lived in Bloomfield before moving to West Caldwell in 1964.
A hard worker all his life, he retired from A.S.M.E., Fairfield, NJ as a warehouse manager.
He belonged to UNICO and The Caldwell Old Guard. In addition to spending time with his family some of his favorite activities were dancing, bowling, bocce ball and going to casinos.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 64 years,Vera (Blasco); devoted children, William, Maria Dean and Alyssa O'Neill (Jeff); also 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
