Elizabeth "Lisa" A. Kennedy, 58, of Verona, NJ, formerly of Montclair, NJ, passed away after a valiant attempt to save her heart. Her spirit will forever be in our hearts for as long as they beat.

Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL to Ernest and Arlene Webster, Lisa was raised in Florida where she majored in piano and elementary education at Florida State University. Having spent her childhood in southern Florida, Lisa developed a love of the outdoors, and, in particular, a love of the beaches and the ocean. Befitting her love of the ocean, she spent her last vacation at the Jersey Shore.

Later moving to New Jersey, she worked as a legal secretary, a homemaker, and a promotional sales representative at Pizzaz Promotions in Wayne, NJ.

Additionally, she was very involved in her church, Union Congregational teaching Sunday School, organizing events and fundraising efforts, and providing comfort and assistance to those in need.

Lisa's love of family and caring for her children and husband was the natural essence of who she was, a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

Surviving are her beloved husband, John C. Kennedy; devoted children, Brian, Elizabeth, Shaun and Conor; loving sister Victoria Webster and her spouse, Kimberly Stanford; and cherished grandchildren, Sebastian and Lukas.

Flowers may be sent to Union Congregational Church, Montclair, New Jersey or donations in Lisa's memory may be made to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (designate Heart Transplant) or the American Heart Association.
