Richard N. Bledsoe, 86, of Caldwell, NJ, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019.

Visitation will be held at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Sunday, May 12th from 4-7 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm. Born in Newark, NJ to Harvey and Ethel Bledsoe, Richard lived in Lyndhurst and Montclair before moving to Caldwell in 2000.

Mr. Bledsoe was a Korean War Veteran, honorably serving in the US Army. He worked in insurance sales for Met Life and was the proprietor of a flooring business until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Kabajy) in 1988. Surviving are his children, Michael, Laura Benazet, Richard and Steven; also, eight grandchildren.
