Concetta "Connie" Uzzolino, 87, of Roseland, New Jersey, formerly of Newark, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019. Please join the family as they celebrate Connie's life on Thursday, August 15th from 5-8 pm in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 16th at 11:00 am in St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell followed by the interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey. Born in Newark, NJ to Rudolph and Rose (Gangemi) DeBartolo, Connie lived most of her life in Newark. After her husband, Martin, passed in 1991, she lived with her daughter's family in Roseland. Connie was a homemaker who also worked as an assistant clerk for the County of Essex. Surviving are her devoted children and their spouses, Roseann and Robert Carroll, Peter and Ana Maria Uzzolino; loving and devoted granddaughter, Kimberly Carroll; cherished grandsons, Peter Martin (Mary) and Anthony Martin Uzzolino; and two adored great grandchildren, Noah and Alexa; loving niece and Goddaughter, Andrea McDonough. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin; brother, Anthony DeBartolo and a sister, Angelina (Joseph) McDonough.
