Devoted Presbyterian Raymond Charles Corbin, of West Caldwell, New Jersey, joined the church triumphant on Monday, January 13, 2020 Join the family as they celebrate Ray's life on Sunday, January 19th at 1:00 pm in the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell, 326 Bloomfield Ave., Caldwell, NJ. Born in Nutley, NJ to Ralph A. Corbin, Sr. and Nicola Johnson, Ray was raised in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. He married the love of his life, Joan DeBevoise, and together they raised their daughters in West Caldwell, New Jersey. Ray worked for many years in sales, management and publishing for IDG of Boston, MA, a computer magazine publishing company before his retirement in 2005. He proudly served in the National Guard and was an active leader of the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell. At the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell he served as an elder, deacon, youth leader, mentor, Sunday School Teacher and Bethel Series educator. He was a true pillar of the church and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family has many happy memories of times spent with Ray in Cape Cod. He was fun loving, engaging and dedicated to his family and his Savior, Jesus Christ, the church and community. Surviving are his beloved wife, Joan, devoted daughters, Michele Corbin and her wife, Ann, and Sandra Corbin, a dear brother, Richard Corbin and his wife Gail, and a cherished granddaughter, Tina, also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, the late Ralph A. Corbin, Jr. and his wife, the late Janet Corbin. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
