Obituary of Nicolas Jose Santos

Nicolas Santos A Beautiful Boy with A HUGE Heart Nicolas Santos, of Bloomfield and Union, NJ, passed away on Sunday, November 03, 2013 after a lifetime of courage and love. He was a 13 year old who touched the hearts of children of all ages. Nick was an extra special boy who overcame many challenges his entire life and lived with courage and unconditional love that was remarkable to witness. Nick loved his family, friends, teachers, classmates, therapists, nurses and the many doctors that treated him. He was great with his hands and loved to fix things around the house. He was a jokester, a handyman, an avid shopper, a rabid Wiggles fan and a great driver of his remote control cars and his beloved ride-on Jeep. Most importantly, he was a perpetual smiler. Although born with half of a heart, his was bigger and more loving than the biggest of healthy hearts. He was a teacher to many and an inspiration to all. He is survived by his parents Mario Rui Santos with his wife, Aimee and Susana Maria Santos with her fiancé Michael Katz; sisters Daniela and Sophia; grandparents Carlos and Isbela Santos , Candida Santos and step grandparents Steve and Karen Kalinowski; step brother & sister Alex and Maggie Katz; uncles Victor and Marcos Santos; aunts Magda and Ana Santos and Stacy Rahnama; also numerous cousins.
