Carmella Mildred Schlimbach, aged 101, peacefully passed away of natural causes on

Monday, May 25 in her bed in her private home of ten years at Crane's Mill.

Throughout her lifetime, Mrs. Schlimbach prevailed through two pandemics, a depression, a world war, and more with strength of character, ethics and discipline that defined a lifetime of devotion to her church, her family and all those she loved. "Millie" and her late husband, Walter, who passed in 1989, married in 1945 and built a business that is part of a global corporation today.  The third child of Italian immigrants, Millie was one of eight siblings and is survived at Crane's Mill by her sister, Marie Sivella.  She also leaved behind a brother, Nicholas Sivolella of Danbury, Connecticut, as well as many nieces and nephews and generations beyond.

Services for Mildred Schlimbach are private. Mrs. Schlimbach’s funeral procession around the perimeter of Crane’s Mill will occur between 11:45 am and 12 noon on Friday, May 29, 2020 before her interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, New Jersey. There will be a garden planted this spring at Crane’s Mill in Mrs. Schlimbach’s memory and in appreciation of her extended family.
