Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother

Edith G. Striglia, 96, of Montville, NJ, formerly of Newark, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 

2020. 

Edith was born in Newark, NJ to Anthony and Frances (Zocchi) Russoman. In 1949 she met and married the 

love of her life, Ralph, and together they raised their two sons, Nicholas and Ralph, Jr. 

She lived in Newark until she and Ralph moved to Montville in 1997. Her greatest joy in life was being a part 

of her two grandsons, Nicholas and Vincent, lives and sharing in their achievements. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph, Edith is survived by her devoted sons, Nicholas and his wife, 

Judy, and Ralph, Jr.; cherished grandsons Nicholas and Vincent; also many adored nieces and nephews. 

Services are private for the immediate family at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home of Caldwell, NJ. Edith will 

be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Ralph, at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.  

When we can safely gather a Memorial Mass will be announced and celebrated at St. Thomas More R.C.
