Loving Sister, Aunt and Friend
Katherine Ann Shauger (nee Wilk), a lifelong resident of West Orange, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 57 years old.
Relatives and friends are invited for visiting at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 (973-226-6696) on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from
2 - 6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, 1 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, NJ 07052 on Monday 28, 2014 at 11:00 am. The interment will be private. To extend condolences or share a memory, please visit www.codeyjonesfh.com.
Katherine was the mailroom clerk for the law offices of Marcus, Brody, Ford & Kessler LLC in Roseland, NJ.
She was predeceased by her mother, Maureen (McGarry) Rosen, a sister Patrice Rosen and her father, Leo Wilk.
Surviving are her beloved step-father, Kenneth Rosen; brothers, Michael Wilk and Kenneth Rosen and his wife, Mary; a sister, Colleen Blasi and her husband Rich; a nephew Richard Gruchacz; and nieces, Caitlyn and Madison Rosen.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Katherine's memory given to St. Barnabas Hospice, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052, would be appreciated.
