He graduated from Lehigh University and earned a Master’s degree from Montclair State University.  He taught industrial arts in various schools for 30 years and subsequently founded the family business, Stille & Sons of Caldwell, NJ.

Paul was proud to work alongside his sons every day in his contracting business.  He was the former president of the E. Hanover Township Teachers Assoc., and founder of the West Essex Handicap Horseshoe Pitchers Club for 30 years.

He loved cabinetmaking, woodworking, crafting “whirligigs” and repairing just about anything.  He was also a life-long Yankees and Seton Hall Basketball Fan.

His attention to detail and ability to think “outside the box” was a gift he shared with his sons and clients.  Humor and true friendship were gifts he shared abundantly over his lifetime.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara; devoted children and their spouses:  James Stille (Gina), Lisa Garrity (Francis), Thomas Stille (Diane), Peter Stille (Lisbeth); adored grandchildren, Thomas (T.J.)
