Frederick R. Rall, 91, died July 25 at Ann's Choice Retirement Community, Warminster, Pa. Son of the late Reginald and Florence Rall, Fred was born and raised in Newark, N.J. Before moving to Pennsylvania in 2012, he lived in Livingston, N.J. 43 years. He attended Boston University and served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 3 1/2 years during World War II. He was employed at Western Electric Co. in Kearny, N.J. over 44 years as a cost accountant and benefit service representative, retiring in 1985. He was a Master Mason and was actively involved in church work. As a member of Kilburn Memorial Presbyterian Church in Newark he served as a trustee and an elder and was the baritone soloist in the choir. It was here that he and his wife of 59 years met. Fred was also an elder at the Presbyterian Church in Livingston where, in addition, he served as worship assistant, usher, and choir member. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy (nee Chura), his son, Glenn, and daughter-in-law, Eileen, and two granddaughters, Kelsey and Abigail, of Elkins Park, Pa. A memorial service will be held on July 30 at 1:00 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church of Livingston, 271 W. Northfield Road, Livingston, N.J. Internment will be private.
