Obituary of Robert C. Ramé

The family of Robert C. Ramé of West Caldwell, NJ, is sad to announce his passing on Saturday, September 12, 2020. He joins his beloved Nan who passed in 2015.

Bob was born in Hillside, NJ to William and Effie (Adda) Ramé, Sr.  He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946.

Returning from the service he entered Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford and graduated with an Engineering Degree in 1950.  Bob’s career extended 48 years at Resistoflex (Roseland, NJ) / Crane (Marion, NC) where he retired as a field engineer in 1989.

Bob’s life was made complete when he met the love of his life, Nan Anderson. They married on June 16, 1951 and together shared a life, raised a family and encouraged each other in faith at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Essex Fells.

Surviving are his devoted daughters, Laurie (Thomas) and Jill; and a loving sister, Audrey Guth.  In addition to Nan, he was predeceased by his brother, William, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 271 Roseland Avenue, Essex Fells, NJ 07021 would be appreciated.
