The family of Katherine C. Pollara is sad to announce her passing on Saturday, September 19, 2020.

Born in Glen Ridge to Thomas P. and Katherine Josephine Cunningham, Kay lived most of her life in the Caldwells with the exception of 20 years in Sarasota, FL.
Mrs. Pollara graduated from Montclair Teachers College and was a teacher for the Caldwell / West Caldwell Board of Education, Notre Dame School in North Caldwell, retiring from St. Elizabeth's in Convent Station.
Kay was a quiet light who was a servant leader, consummate teacher and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Ralph F. Pollara, cherished grandson, Joshua, and her brother William Cunningham.
Surviving are her devoted daughters, Joanne Pollara and Carol (Phil) Privitera, beloved grandchildren, Angela, Nicole (Manny), Monica, and Joseph and great-grandchildren Cristian, Lucas and Alanna.
