Thomas Robert O'Hara, of North Caldwell and Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020, with his loving family by his side.

Thomas was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey to his parents, Thomas John and Helen (Lowe) O'Hara of North Caldwell, New Jersey. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Lafayette College and a Masters from Pace University and Montclair State University.
He met and married the love of his life, Mary Anne (Belfiore) and together they raised a family in West Caldwell and North Caldwell, New Jersey.
Tom began his career as a systems analyst with IBM in New York City. Upon earning his Masters from Montclair University, he taught several years in the Nutley Public School system. Tom began his landscaping career with Tom's Lawn Service. Following his teaching career, he developed his landscaping company into Tri-County Landscaping.
Tom was active in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Team in Training organization for several years. He spoke with groups and participated in marathons, bike rides, and a hike through the Grand Canyon to raise dollars for research.
His greatest joy was spending time with his 11 grandchildren. He loved to attend their games and activities, take vacations with the family and just enjoy their laughter and smiles. In addition to spending time with his family he loved to ride his bike along the Jersey Shore.
Tom was predeceased by to his parents, and his brother, Robert T. O'Hara.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Anne; his devoted children, Thomas Michael O'Hara (Cara), Lauren Christine Cesario (Anthony), Alyssa Shannon Wheeler (Stephen) and Heather Marissa O'Hara; and his cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Ryan, Jordin, Oliviannah, Anthony James, Riley, Michael, Brayden, Caeden, Henry and Wyatt.
