Beloved, Wife, Mother, Grandmother

Patricia J. Pompeo (nee Milinkovich), 76 of West Caldwell passed away at home on May 14, 2021.

Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass in celebration of Patricia's life at Notre Dame Church, 359 Central Ave. North Caldwell on Tuesday May 18 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation is limited to immediate family members and will be held at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell immediately prior to the mass.

Born in Newark, Patricia has lived in West Caldwell since 1968. She enjoyed her work at Aetna Insurance Company for several years before raising her loving family. A graduate of Barringer High School in Newark, she served as treasurer of their Alumni Association for many years. Above all, Patricia treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Patricia was the beloved wife of A. Mario Pompeo; loving mother of Mario A. Pompeo and his wife Janine, and Gina Vinick and her husband Jason; adoring grandmother of Alison and Megan Vinick and Mario E. and Nicholas Pompeo. She was predeceased by her brother Tom Milinkovich, and is also survived by her sister-in-law Kathleen Milinkovich, and by several loving nieces and nephews.
