Dear Franny, Barbara & Karen, I am sure you know how sad I am at your mothers passing. She was my friend when we as a family were all friends on Shepard Terrace and forever. I admired your mom for her calm demeaner, her sense of humor & her common sense. I always admired how she raised all of you with such caring after your father died. She taught me many life skills but when she taught me how to make " Italian meatballs & gravy", my family are always grateful. We worked in the community House together, we worked with the W. O. Board of Education in the schools together. I remember the family beach vacations when all you kids were teenagers & how much your Mom & i enjoyed them. I cannot remember when Clara was not part of my life. I will remember her forever. God Bless the three of you & families & I know you will always have wonderful memories of your mom. Dear Franny, Barbara, Karen and family, We were so saddened to hear about your mom, grandmother. Clara was a wonderful caring person who guided her family for many years on her own with a strong, calm, loving demeanor. We have so many fond memories of Clara and the McEnerney family that we will always cherish. Clara always treated the Cerutti's like family and she will forever have a special place in our hearts. The Scaturro girls have so many memories from Shepard terrace years and DeSacia family from the “second” Shepard terrace years. My sincere condolences to the family of Clara McEnerney. I knew Clara so well from her wonderful work in the guidance department at West Orange High School where I worked for 30 years. Clara was an exceptional individual and admired so much by all who worked with her. There will never be another Clara McEnerney.
