Obituary of Richard Norman Foster
Richard N. Foster of West Caldwell, NJ, formerly of Roseland, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at WCCC with his wife of 47 years, Eileen (Mooney) by his side. He was 71.
Born September 12, 1949 to Franklin Sr.and Gertrude (Hanson) Foster, Richard lived in Roseland and West Orange. A 1969 graduate of West Essex High School, Richard was involved in various sports. He worked for the Roseland Department of Public Works for 35 years.
Richard cherished and loved his German Shepherds: his girl “Greta” and his boy”Regis” - they will miss him dearly.
Richard was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Patricia Foster Duncan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen; his brother, Frank Foster, Jr. and his wife Marlene Hollier, of Texas.
Visitation will be on Monday, August 9th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave, Caldwell. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 10th at 10:30 AM at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
