Angela M. Vassallo (DiStaulo), 86, of Caldwell passed away on September 17, 2021.

Born to Salvatore and Nellie (Spinelli) DiStaulo in Jersey City, NJ in 1935, Angela worked for Prudential in Newark, NJ for many years, before starting her career as a legal secretary.  She excelled in her profession.

Angela's love and devotion to her grandchildren was immeasurable. She was proud to share in all of their moments and was a big part of all of their lives. There is nothing that brought her more joy than being around her family and friends. Angela was an independent woman, who asked for little in life, but gave so much of herself to the people around her.

Angela is survived by her three children, Carolyn and husband Bill (son Thomas); Chris and wife Rita (sons Christopher, Anthony and Louie); and Marianne (sons Frank, Dean and Tim); her brother, Richard DiStaulo; his wife, Margaret and their family.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ. on Wednesday, September 22nd at 10:30am. Inurnment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations  in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org would be appreciated.
