Father John P. Ryan, of Lords Valley, PA, retired pastor of Our Lady of the Valley Church, Orange, NJ; Madonna Church, Fort Lee, NJ; and Immaculate Conception Church, Mahwah, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 following a brief illness. He was 86.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 30th at 11:00am in Our Lady of the Valley Church, Orange, with Visitation in the Church on Monday, April 29th from 2:00 to 6:00pm. Arrangements are through Codey Funeral Home of Caldwell.

He is survived by his sister, Loretta Reustle; his sister and brother in law, Susan and Robert Lally; his sister and brother in law, Elizabeth and Lawrence Conway; his brother and sister in law, Gerard and Camille Ryan; his sister in law, Ronda Ryan; his sister in law, Felicia Ryan; and a number of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
