Obituary of JulieAnn Petrillo
A beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, JulieAnn “Jules” Petrillo, 55, of Livingston, NJ, passed peacefully early Sunday morning, September 29, 2024.
Growing up in West Orange, NJ, JulieAnn lived a beautiful life of love and care. Working as a nurse, she had a natural and easeful way of supporting those lucky enough to be around her. Her battle with cancer was lengthy, but you wouldn’t know. Her smile made you smile, and her laugh filled the room.
JulieAnn loved the mountains. She admired their beauty and vastness. You would often find her on the trails with the family dog, walking through the pine trees filled with joy. She was also an incredible cook, making sure her children had lunches all the other kids begged to trade for. It was one of the many ways she shared her love.
She knew the simple pleasures in life. Her favorite nights were ones at home, doing a face mask, and watching one of her shows with her family by her side.
JulieAnn is survived by her children, Nina, Anthony and Michael; her husband, Nino; her sisters, Maria and Andrea; and her nieces and nephews. Her love will continue and never be forgotten.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Codey Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave, Caldwell, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Philomena Church, Livingston on Friday, October 4th at 10:00am, with the inurnment following at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
