Charmaine N. Coleman Obituary

Charmaine N. Coleman passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024. She was 82.


Charmaine was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Penn State University. She later married and moved to New Jersey where she raised her son, Shawn, and pursued a career of teaching English at Saint Charles Borromeo School in Newark, Our Lady of the Valley School in Orange and then East Orange High School.


Charmaine always instilled a love of reading in her students. She was greatly loved by her students and co-workers.


Charmaine was a strong, loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her loving Son, Shawn and his wife, Maria and their twins, her cherished Granddaughters, Michaela and Brianna, whom she loved and adored very much. She will be so greatly missed by her family.


Private services for Charmaine will be held at Codey Funeral Home of Caldwell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Orange, followed by Cremation at Rosedale Cemetery in Montclair. To share condolences or memories, please visit CodeyFH.com.
