Dennis was born in Orange, NJ and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. For 20 years he owned Carnival Pet Shop in West Orange.
Surviving are his children, Jason, Melissa, Dennis, Kevin and Kim; step mom, Mitzi Stone; sister Kathleen Whittmore; companion, Terry Smith; and best friend, George Kugel; also 3 grandchildren.
