Obituary of Vasilios Tsapanides

Vasilios Tsapanides Devout Member of Greek Orthodox Church Vasilios Tsapanides (aka William Maxwell), Toms River, NJ, formerly of Montville, NJ passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. Services to honor and celebrate his life begin with a visitation at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ (973-226-6696) on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in Saints Nicholas, Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 80 Laurel Ave., Roseland, NJ 07068 on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 9:30 am. Born in Russia to his parents, Theodore and Paraskevi, Bill lived in Montville for many years before moving to Toms River in 2001. He was an executive chef for many years in several locations, retiring from the Vegas Diner in Wildwood, NJ. Bill was an active member of Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Orange where he served on the Parish Council and dedicate much of his life. He was also an animal lover and an avid NY Yankee Fan. He was predeceased by his wife, Konstantina. Surviving are his daughters, Mary Maxwell (Patrick O'Rourke) and Victoria Maxwell – Spinazzola (Carmine); a grandson Louis Spinazzola; his beagle buddy, Willy and winged friend, Ricky.
