Obituary of William J. Kern

William J. Kern 1952 - 2015 William J. Kern, 63, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at home. A Memorial Service will be held in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 (973-226-6696) on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm. He worked in the Caldwell Department of Public Works for 26 years, recently retiring in 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Ruth Kern and his wife, Merry Kern. Surviving are his children, Melissa Thompson and Robert Kern; a brother Leonard Kern and sisters, Patricia and Barbara Kern; also 2 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Jude Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
