Sabino "Samuel" A. Ginefra Korean War Veteran Sabino " Samuel " A. Ginefra, 82, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. Services to honor and celebrate his life will be held at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 (973-226-6696) on Friday, March 27, 2015 with a visitation from 9 am until 11 am, with a service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Born in Orange, NJ to his parents, Nicola and Michelina Ginefra, Sam was raised in Orange and lived in Livingston and Parsippany, NJ before moving to Elkton, MD 12 years ago. Mr. Ginefra proudly served in the US Marine Corp in the Korean War. He was a self-employed insurance agent for many years in Parsippany, NJ. "Pop" was a big hearted man who was always sharing his wisdom and great sense of humor. He was a man who lived for his family and friends. His knowledge and wit will be sorely missed. Surviving are his beloved wife, Jane J. (nee Mangnanti); a devoted son, Patrick Ginefra and his wife Beth Carlough; dear brother, Louis Ginefra; loving grandchildren, Marco and Jesse Ginefra. He was predeceased by his son, Nicholas Ginefra and brothers, Salvatore and Thomas Ginefra and a sister, Mary Moore.
