Obituary of Elaine M. Chomko

Elaine Chomko, aged 63, of Caldwell, NJ, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015. Elaine was born May 20, 1951, in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Charles and Marguerite Airel. Born and raised in Jersey City, Elaine settled in Caldwell in 1977. It is in Caldwell where she became an active member of the community. Elaine was a long standing crossing guard in Caldwell, as well as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Aloysius Church. Elaine loved spending time in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, as well as playing with her two beloved grandkids. She will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and dedication. She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, John; her sons, Peter, and his wife, Lori; Jonathan; and her two beloved grandkids, Emily and Matthew. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Arrangements were private in care of the Codey & Jones Funeral Home of Caldwell.
