Obituary of MaryAnn Corso

MaryAnn Corso Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother MaryAnn Corso, 78, of Roseland, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 12th, 2015 at St. Barnabas Medical Center with her family at her side. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Monday, June 15th, 2015 from 4 – 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 28 Livingston Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068 on Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 at 10:00 am. Born in Newark, NJ to her parents, Diego and Maria Zampera, MaryAnn lived in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Roseland in 1977. In her lifetime she worked for the IRS, the US Air Force and retired from the Social Security Administration in Montclair, NJ, where she was a claim representative. MaryAnn loved her family and was blessed to have 10 grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and member of OLBS Church where she sang in the choir. Surviving are her beloved husband, Frank J. Corso; devoted children, with their spouses, Frank J. & Susanne Corso, Richard & Deborah Corso, Gerald & Eve Corso and AnnaMarie & Darren Fusaro; loving sisters, Aurora Hanlon and Roseanne Parolin and her husband Sergio; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Valarie, Julie, Ricky, Nicky, Marissa and Garrett Corso, Emily and Jason Fusaro. MaryAnn also had numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that she loved. In lieu of flowers, donations to the OLBS Church Choir would be appreciated.
