Kathleen "Kathy" A. DeLorenzo Beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother Kathleen "Kathy" A. DeLorenzo, 60, of Fairfield, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015, with her family by her side. Relatives and friends can visit with the family at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006 on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 2 – 6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10:00 am. Born in Orange, NJ to her parents, Daniel and Joan McMullen. Kathy married her high school sweetheart, Rick, and together they raised their family in Fairfield. She had several careers in her lifetime including a secretary, professional meeting planner and a dental assistant. She also worked in the family business, Fair-Con Builders of Fairfield for several years. Kathy's life centered on her family. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, reading, Christmas trips to see Santa Claus at Macy's, and spending time at the beach. Surviving are her beloved husband, Richard "Rick" DeLorenzo; a loving mother, Joan Bader; devoted children, Michael and his wife, Jennifer, DeLorenzo and Suzanne DeLorenzo, PhD; dear sister, Karen Huhn and brother Stephen Bader; cherished grandchildren, Julianna, Isabel and Michael. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert L. Fine and Dawn Tsushima for giving Kathy the gift of a quality life the past 9 ½ years. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's Memory to Robert L.
