Obituary of Carolyn Ann Boney

Retired First Grade Teacher Deacon in Presbyterian Church Carolyn Ann Boney, 83, of Pine Brook, NJ, passed away after a long illness on Friday, April 29, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 am in the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell, 326 Bloomfield Ave., Caldwell, NJ 07006. Arrangements in care of the Codey & Jones Funeral Home of Caldwell. Ann was born and raised in East Orange, NJ to Cecil Dewitt and Myrtle (Cox) Boney, she then moved to Pine Brook where she has lived and taught for many of years. Ms. Boney was a first grade teacher for many years in Montville before her retirement. After retirement she became an active member of the First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell and recently was ordained as a deacon. Surviving are her 2 nieces, Sharon Ann Carter and Elizabeth Roche; and 3 nephews, Paul, Tommy and John Boney.
