Auntie Ding was the one who encouraged me to study high school in Manila so that I can enroll in Pamantasan and because of this I finished college without tatay and nanay worrying about tuition fee. I remember her worrying about all the time when tatay was sick and for that I am very grateful. I have many fond memories of her and am sad to hear about her passing. My sincere condolences to Jackie, Ralph and Steve and Auntie Conching and Auntie Nena.
From Pinay Sulit and family.
God Bless from Australia

I remember Auntie Ding after my graduation-- she was the one who recommended me to Uncle Pepe so that I could have a job at DPWH.
Auntie always expressed her worry and concern over her siblings (not only to them but even to her niece and nephews) especially when they're sick. She was a very beautiful and kind person.
She also told me if the time comes that she passes away, she would like to wear the dress she wore on her wedding.
I miss you, Auntie. May you rest in peace.

Dear Auntie Ding,
Thank you for your love and concern as an Auntie. My favorite memory of you is when you went all out to make sure I and Bernard had a wonderful experience as you toured us around New York when we came to visit New Jersey. The sumptuous feast you prepared at your house is unforgettable. I recall with fondness how you lovingly made me use your beautiful red jacket as I wasn’t prepared for that particularly cold winter day. I treasure the pictures I have of those special time with you and family. You will be dearly missed Auntie. Love, Cherrie

Dear Auntie Nilding,
I believe that there is a window in heaven where God allows you to watch us in our current journeys. So I know you may be reading this too.
The other day, I heard the song What a Wonderful World by Neil Armstrong and for the first time, I cried in grief after your passing. There is an empty spot in our family universe which can only be filled by you.
I will always miss your stories. Of your challenges, sorrows and joys growing up and the nostalgic experiences of a young lady opening up to the wonderful world of the golden years. Your voice reflected your very nurturing nature. It carried your auntie-kind of love. I will especially miss you because you were the female version of my Pop who I am sure you have already met when you got there in heaven. It must have been quite a joyous reunion.
In the corner of my reverie, there is this memory of you pulling girlie accessories from your cabinet and lovingly telling me to pick what I wanted. You eventually had to force this round cross bag into my arms as I was too shy to pick any. I always look back to how you did your best to provide us with the best Christmas Season welcome experience when my sister and I first visited you in New Jersey. You made us feel loved by a caring aunt, it made an impact as we were far away from our own parents and family who were back in the Philippines. The images of you, my Pop, Uncle Rudy and Mama and us cousins watching the Poconos Lake from a sunset backdrop and enjoying the camaraderie of family in a cottage balcony will always hold a special spot in my heart. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. That particular trip to New Jersey is one of the best vacations in my life. You truly have a great way of making your loved ones feel special in your presence.
Auntie, please know this, you will always be loved and remembered...

A Tribute to Nilding
For 64 years now I have been connected with the family being married to her late brotherTingting who has the unconditional, deep-rooted and lasting love for her. They are so close to each other.
As a sister-in-law, I've known Nilding to be God-fearing and spiritually religious. The Lord was the center and number one in her life. It was evident that she has accepted and acknowledged the Lord as the only Savior, who died on the cross for us, paid His precious blood for our sin, risen from the dead and provided us with eternal life. Towards the end, she would always tell me that she will be "home with the Lord."
She is a family-oriented, sacrificial and a loving wife and mother, with her family as her number one priority. She was hard-working and was so dedicated with her profession as a teacher that she has been a role model for her co-workers. She was kind and generous and had good taste. When she gave you something as a gift, it was reallly of good quality. Something that you would truly appreciate. I will always treasure the gift that she has given me.
She cared and had concern for her sibilign and their families. She was also close to her couosins and other relatives. She was a righteous person and a woman of integrity.
I am deeply affected by your passing knowing how much we will miss you. I will miss your calls, especially this coming Christimas when you would always call to ask me about my preparations and if I had already made "suman", telling me that Steve has tried to make his own version of delicious suman.
You always called me after attending my Sunday mass and on our last conversation on November 10, 2019, you told me how happy you were for me that I was able to attend mass at the St. Peters Basilica in the Vatican City wth the Pope officiating the Holy Mass.
Deep in my heart, I will forever treasure the happy and good memories of our happy bonding throughout the years. You will always be remembered in my daily prayers, inclluding Jean and family, Raph and Steve. For God to bless them in all areas of life. They can always count on my love and concern for them.
As a woman of faith, I truly believe that because you believed in the gift of eternal life, your journey to the Kingdom of Heaven was smooth, that you are now in the joyful presence of God Almighty, with perpetual life shining on you.

Dear Steve, Ralph and Jackie,
Please accept our condolences again. I am glad I saw Tia Nilda before she left us. We will always remember Tia Nilda for her smiles every time we see her around Christmas. She was very kind and always loving to her grandchildren. She looked after Jamie and Jeffrey when they were young with great care and treated them like her children. We will surely miss her but we are consoled that she finally joins your loving father, Tio Ruding, in heaven. Sincerely, Noel, Elena, Jamie and Jeff

Mama, we love you and we'll miss you so much. You personified what it means to be a loving and nurturing mother. Thank you for everything you've ever done for us, for taking care of us when we were sick or hurting, for always listening and encouraging us, and for loving us unconditionally. Please rest in peace with the Lord now.
From your children, Jackie, Ralph, and Steve, who will always keep you in our memories and in our hearts.
