He had an impact in my life, my parents’ lives, and an untold number of people I’ll never know. This is bearable only because of the reality of the Resurrection and the sure knowledge that all of us who know Christ as Lord shall see him again. When Iran comes to mind, I always remember Pastor Bob’s ministry at Community Church of Tehran, his way with people, his commitment to the Gospel, Mary Lou and the family. The view of the Elburz Mountains from North Tehran in the 1970s was that of my parents’ balcony at Golestan 4, #77, off Saltanatabad Avenue. Bob came there many times to talk to Dad, who served as the President of the Community Church of Tehran for a time. Those visits seem like yesterday (Psalm 90). Romans 10:9.

Bob taught me that we are all unique and special, that no one else will be the same and that is God's plan. Thank you God for the gift of Bob Pryor and for his unique and special gifts of ministry and for putting him in my life. I will forever be changed and will remember him always.
