I remember Doris as a tremendous role model for any young woman. She was devoted to her family, and in the nicest possible way, a force to be reckoned with. She was a leader, a businesswoman, successful precisely because of her principles and her commitment to being the best and giving her clients the best. She was a big personality - warmhearted, forthcoming, genuine. And when Dave was lying in hospital, between life and death after the accident when he broke his neck, her big personality and devotion simply demanded that he come back to her, and he did. She thought the nurses would think she was crazy, telling this unconscious man in no uncertain terms that he was needed, his presence was required....he told her afterwards that all he had been aware of was her voice...
It is a comfort that her death, in her home, surrounded by her family, was just as she had wished. In their grief and loss, they know they did all they could for her.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Doris, a very special Lady. We have wonderful memories of good times at the office, at her home for Christmas parties and a memorable visit to Lake George with a ride in Jack's speed boat. She was a fried to us and a mentor as we began our real estate career at Mitchell and McKenna.
Our deepest sympathy to all the family.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May God almighty father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to comfort you all (2 Corinthians 1: 3, 4). Please know that God has promised to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). Indeed we all eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of these promise. The Bible also provides assurance of a real hope of reuniting with our dead loved ones in the coming new world (John 5: 28, 29). At a time like this the Bible is a true source of comfort and you can read it online and also learn further about God's purposes at www.jw.org
